Hedera helix (Common ivy, European ivy) is a species of flowering plant, native to most of Europe and western Asia. It is a rampant, clinging evergreen climber, can be seen in gardens, on house walls and tree trunks.
The word helix is derived from Ancient Greek "twist, turn“.
It is found in northern areas of Pakistan. In urdu Ivy is called عشق پیچاں
